Weed Control and Spraying
Weeds and grass growing in places they shouldn’t be can be a major eye-sore for your property. Whether it’s on your lawn or garden beds, or in those hard to access areas such as drive-ways, garden paths, and paved areas, it’s important to act fast and try to eliminate these unwanted weeds.
If left for too long, these weeds can grow and spread to different areas of your property, even taking over your entire lawn. The most efficient ways of eliminating these weeds is through physically hand-picking them out of the ground, or spraying them with non-selective weed killer. However, this can be very time-consuming.
Selective Herbicides
As per the name, selective herbicides selectively kill certain weeds, grasses, and plants. What it kills is entirely dependant on what type of selective herbicide is used, and what active chemical is used.
A selective herbicide means that it can be sprayed over an entire lawn, and only kill the bad stuff!
Hand-picking
Possibly the most reliable way to get rid of unwanted weeds and grasses, hand picking weeds by the roots ensures death and no grow-back. This method can get labour intensive and time consuming.
Non-selective Herbicides
Non-selective herbicides don’t discriminate. Any grass or weed that is sprayed with a non-selective herbicide will die. While this can be very handy in trying to eliminate weeds in pavers and garden paths, make sure none of this stuff gets on your lawn!
